Development Squads

Our U15 football squad played 3 games in a National blitz in Ballyhaunis Co. Mayo on Saturday. They took on Roscommon in the first game where they had a good win in a high scoring game. They then faced Offaly and Leitrim where they were narrowly beaten. The most important aspect of the blitz was that over 30 players got game time playing a high standard of county football. Our U16 footballers finished up their campaign with games versus Dublin and Antrim in Louth on Saturday. This group of players have come along way since the beginning of the year and huge thanks must go to Liam, Gerry and Michael for the work they put into this group of players during that time. Both our U14 and U16 hurling squads are training this week in preparation for their All Ireland C blitz which is coming up in a few weeks.
