Our New Recruit Last week seen Kathlyn Quinn start work in a new role within Longford Coaching & Games. Kathlyn’s position is a joint Hurling & Football position with a strong emphasis on the promotion and development of Hurling initiatives within the county as well as some Football projects. Kathlyn is a Galway native and has spent the last 6 years promoting Gaelic Hurling & Football in San Francisco under the leadership of the Munster Council. Kathlyn’s role has been created in association with Leinster GAA and for the next few weeks she will be visiting other Counties to see what programs might work within Longford as well as getting to know the lie of the land within the County. This week she will commence coaching both codes within two dual schools. We look forward to working with Kathlyn and introducing het to all the invested stakeholders in the weeks ahead.
