There are two addresses per club, one for the adult club (email@example.com) and one for the underage section (firstname.lastname@example.org). It is all clubs responsibility to ensure someone is monitoring these accounts and passing the information to the relevant people. Development Squad Mentors As part of “20/20 Vision For Longford”, Longford GAA are now looking to recruit mentors for our various Development Squads (U13, U14, U15 & U16) for the 2016 season. Paul Barden Development Squad TournamentLongford GAA wish to acknowledge the contribution made by one of our finest footballers of all time by renaming our U15/U16 Development Squad Tournament in Paul Bardens name. Paul represented Clonguish, Longford, Leinster & Ireland with distinction throughout his GAA career. Pauls dedication, commitment, hard work and ambition to become the very best he could be is what we want to instil in future Longford Footballers. To this end we will be hosting our Paul Barden Development Squad Tournament throughout the month of October. The aim of the tournament is to expose our best footballers to a higher standard of football and to challenge those players against their own peers in an ability appropriate environment. The tournament will also serve as the selection process for both our U16 & Minor panels of 2016. It is also hoped that this tournament will inspire the next generation of players to become the Paul Bardens of the future-imagine that, a team of Paul Bardens..! The tournament will consist of 4 teams made up from the best 70 footballers in the county born in either 1999 or 2000. These teams will play off against each other on a league basis under floodlights with the top two team contesting the final on the 22nd of October.
