O’Byrne Cup victory for Longford over Dublin

Longford are through to the Bord na Mona O’Byrne Cup Final after a courageous victory over Dublin. Longford managed to hold the lead throughout the game and finished the first half with a score line of 0-07 to 0-04. Substitute Liam Connerton scored a late second half goal to give Longford some breathing space going into the final minutes. Final score: 1-12 – 0-09. We now march on to the final next Sunday where we face Meath in Navan at 2.30pm.
