Last Sunday, Longford were represented by six groups at the Scór na nÓg Leinster Final held at the National Opera House in Wexford. Two of these groups, the Ballymore Figure Dancers (Rince Foirne) and Killoe Óg Question Time (Trath na gCeist), successfully progressed as provincial champions to the All-Ireland Final, which will be held in Killarney on Saturday, May 6.
On a highly competitive afternoon, Longford were also represented by Set Dancers from Abbeylara, the Instrumental Music Group from Wolfe Tones Og, and the Novelty Act and Ballad Group from Killoe Og but it was Ballymore Figure Dancers and the Killoe Trath an gCeist team who won their respective finals and we wish them every success in the upcoming All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals.

Leinster champions – The Killoe Óg quiz team of Ryan Keogh, Gerald Keogh, Conor Doherty and Tommy Tully which has qualified for the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Final.
The Killoe Óg ballad group of Rebecca Moorhead, Abbey White, Aimee Dolan, Robyn Dunne and Alex Lee which competed at the Leinster Scór na nÓg Final in Wexford last Sunday.
The Killoe Óg novelty act group members Orlaith Craig, Aimee Dolan, Adam McCarthy, Madison Canty, Rachel Lee, Elaine Casey, Cian Gilna and Aoife Lee at the Leinster Scór na nÓg Finals in Wexford.
The Wolfe Tones Og instrumental group members Nadine Smith, Catriona Ryan and Tomas Mulligan who were proudly representing Wolfe Tones Og and Longford in the traditional music section in Wexford at the weekend.
