Longford Senior Footballers presentation to St. Christopher’s Special School

The Longford Senior Footballers recently organised a Last Man Standing fundraiser to help purchase an electronic therapy chair for St. Christoper’s Special School in Longford.

“The Board of Management, pupils and staff would like to sincerely thank Longford County GAA footballers for kindly raising €3,000 for the school.” said Sheila Dinnegan, Principal of St. Christopher’s Special School. “The money has been used to purchase a electronic therapy chair. The chair has been a wonderful addition to our pupils who love spending time on it. The chair provides whole-body sensory input and has become a daily part of the pupils occupational therapy routines. It has a very calming effect and is a great tool for children who display anxiety or need support with emotional regulation. We are extremely grateful to our County Football players and to all who supported their fundraising effort.”.
