Paddy Christie’s first competitive game as the Longford football manager will be away to Laois in the first round of the 2023 O’Byrne Cup on Wednesday, 4th January. The opening fixture will be followed by a home game against Carlow on Saturday, 7th January and the final group game will be away to Meath on Wednesday, 11th January. The winner of Longford’s group will get a bye to this year’s O’Byrne Cup final which will be played on Friday, 20th January.
